A three-days conference in Venezia on the subject this blog is mainly about. I am somewhat perplexed about the programme but I think it will be worthwhile, all in all.

The “Centro interuniversitario di storia culturale” organizes in Padova a very interesting conference “La società dello sguardo. Ricerche sulla storia della visione in età contemporanea. An international conference to reflect on the power of photo archives to contribute to the the building of the idea of Nation.
The conference will be held in Florence, from 27th to 29th October, hosted by Kunsthistorisches museum.

A lot of superstars of photographic conservation in this really really interesting conference. It will be held in Spain from the 20th to the 23rd of June.

Unfortunately I read about this conference too late. It looks quite interesting and there were a couple of talks related to photography as well.

Il bando scade il 1 giugno. La conferenza si terrà a Padova nel febbraio 2012. Chiunque sia interessato è caldamente invitato a partecipare.
